The two important factors to consider when choosing high temperature resistant gloves are: contact temperature + single contact time. These two factors are indispensable. Temperature of contact with the object is taken into account that the glove material in contact with the hot object will not react physically or chemically to high temperatures, such as combustion or carbonization after reaching the ignition point, or oxidation after high temperatures. The single contact time takes into account the time when the temperature from the outer surface of the glove reaches the inner layer of the glove and exceeds the temperature that human hands can tolerate. If your single contact is less than this time, then it's within the safe time range.

The first two considering things to choose heat resistant gloves:

First, is the temperature of our actual object greater than our declared glove temperature? Single contact time does not exceed the heat conduction time of the glove at the actual object temperature. In the above two necessary conditions, we also need to consider related factors: the weight of carrying objects, generally the heavier the weight, because of the greater force of extrusion gloves, the shorter the heat conduction time of gloves, the shorter the single time can contact the hot objects. The shorter the idle time between single contact, the shorter the heat conduction time will be.
